We saw many of our non-commercially viable logs, which often have grain and character which makes them unsaleable to commercial sawmills. Some of these products are for sale and we can make bespoke planks, beams, boards and turning blanks - contact us for availability

Charcoal
Thinnings are used charcoal production in our retort which using the wood's own gasification to produce a very-low-carbon-footprint charcoal which is of restaurant quality. Charcoal is available for sale, either for collection or delivery in the local area and in Edinburgh - contact us for details.
